Tour along the Moselle and into the Maifeld

Short description of the tour

Starting at the station of Kobern-Gondorf we ascend the heights of the Moselle and reach the "Matthiaskapelle" and the "Oberburg" overlooking Kobern-Gondorf. You will be impressed by the magnificent panoramic views over the valley of the Moselle and the surrounding mountain ranges. The ascent will be easy by E-bike.

Afterwards we continue our tour into the Maifeld and reach Mertloch. There is the opportunity for a picnic or lunch in a restaurant nearby (not included in the tour price).

Via Münstermaifeld we descend to the Moselle. We cycle through the romantic valley of the little creek "Schrumpfbach" to reach Hatzenport.

On our way to Kobern-Gondorf we use several cycling routes like the Maifeld cycling route, the Moselle cycling route as well as connecting routes. Only sometimes we use district roads with light traffic.

The covered distance of this tour is about 52 km.
