The Hunsrück - romantic castles and attractive wine sceneries

The Hunsrück is situated in the heart of Rhineland-Palatinate enclosed by the river and wine valleys of Moselle, Nahe, Saar and Rhine. The landscape comprises cool woods and large meadows, marshes and river valleys as well as picturesque towns. You can also visit the Erbeskopf (816m), the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The castles, churches and historic monuments of the region can often be seen from afar and show a century old history.

The Hunsrück with its variety of cycling routes is still an insiders’ tip for cyclists. So it is a perfect starting point for our tours – relaxing along disused railways or sportive through the mountains. Several connecting routes guide you into the river valleys of Nahe, Moselle, Rhine and Saar.
