The Ahr valley - a pleasure for all senses

The Ahr valley is one of the most beautiful tributary valleys of the Rhine and is well known for its exquisite red wine. It connects the Eifel with the Rhine valley and presents itself with a diversified scenery of woods, meadows, steeply terraced vineyards and narrow rock formations. All of you who are nature lovers, gourmets and wellbeing enthusiasts can discover the Ahr valley on a guided tour with us.

The Ahr originates in Blankenheim in the Eifel and burbles in the upper Ahr valley as a small brook in the hilly landscape. At the Middle Ahr the river meanders, the valley becomes narrow and cuts deeply into hillsides. Near Altenahr you can find the biggest Ahr sinuosity which is a protected landscape for its flora and fauna. In the lower Ahr valley the river flows as a natural delta near Sinzig into the Rhine has passed on its way from source to estuary about 89km full of wine flavour, untouched nature and picturesque places.

There are many well developed bike trails for all endurances and demands and therefore is very suitable for our E-bike tours. Every year in June the car-free cycling day from Blankenheim to Altenahr takes place – the “Tour-de-Ahrtal”.

With eBike-Touring every day becomes a discovery day – come with us to the most beautiful places of the Ahr valley!
